Hadith refers to the actions, sayings, approvals (Taqrir), and qualities of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). It serves as the second most authoritative source of guidance after the Holy Quran. Without Hadith, a complete understanding of the Holy Quran becomes challenging, as it provides context, interpretation, and practical applications of divine commandments. Furthermore, Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh) relies on Hadith to formulate authentic legal and ethical rulings.

Our Hadith Studies course introduces students to the fundamentals of Hadith, its history, compilation, terminologies, classifications, and major Hadith collections. Students gain insight into the methodologies used by scholars to preserve, authenticate, and interpret Hadith. Through this structured curriculum, learners develop the ability to refer directly to the original sources of Islamic law and theology, avoiding misinterpretations and peripheral debates. By the end of the course, students not only enhance their spiritual and intellectual understanding but also strengthen their ability to apply Islamic teachings in daily life with clarity and authenticity.
